November 22, 2011 – - – - This is a big 5X5. This buck bedded down and my nephew tried a stalk with his bow and missed the buck.. One and only time we ever saw this deer…

Novermber 2011. – - – - This buck jumped the fence and then stood there with a doe and looked at me….no more than 30 yards away!!!

This is a piebald whitetail fawn I photographed in the fall of 2008 north of Chinook.

I came across this deer a few years back one early November morning. As I was sitting there trying to figure out how to set her free, our local game warden came along. Between the two of us we were able to get her out of the fence unharmed. She ran a few feet, stopped and looked back at us and then went on her merry way.
